Sunnen's Shell 2C Tool is designed to run quieter and more efficiently in heavy-duty applications, such as aircraft landing gear, diesel liners and large hydraulic sleeves. The tool is designed for diameters from 198 - 610 mm (7.80 - 24.02 in.), and tests have shown it to be 10 to 15 dB quieter than other similar tools in the same applications. The Shell 2C tool is a good choice for use with the Sunnen HTG-Series heavy-duty tube hone.
